Hello Again!
I've been spending the last couple of weeks doing another one of James Doyle's incredible tutorial series in preparation for creating an FPS game (Also credit to Kenney for use of his SciFi pack in this tutorial series!). See below for a GIF from my "following along" of James' tutorial:
I definitely think it's time I focus a little more on some 3D development, as I want to strengthen my skills and portfolio in this area. I've always really loved the first-person shooter genre (played more than a couple hundred hours of Call of Duty growing up), and so that's where I'm going to focus my efforts first. My objective with the FPS game I'm going to make is to create something with a lot of polish - I want the game to feel smooth, fluid, and satisfying. I'm thinking I'm also going to create a game where the player feels fast and free, i.e. a lot of boosts, jumps, and other similar mechanics.
